In the past two years, the Arab world has witnessed an unprecedented state of revolutions. I have begun to see different scenes of quarrels between revolutionaries and the government. The common goal is freedom under the title “Arab Spring.” This sentence that contradicts the product of the revolutions I have seen was the driving force for me to make a project, an artist who embodies this stage in Arab history. I try to find the contradictions between events and scenes in a conceptual artistic style. This artistic style is summarized in the case of the human body. This is a set of metaphors of meanings and interpretation.
What drives me as an artist is Love and Revolution. In this project, I embodied the revolution as a lass or lover. What was the dream of every revolutionary who hates the corrupted systems, In hopes of revolution to change and have a better future? But by the time this revolution came out, it was killed right away. As if it can’t come out of being just an idea.
